New Contracts with FastWeb and Other Top Tier Clients
Dec. 8, 1999--24/7 Media, Inc. (NASDAQ:TFSM), one of the largest Internet media companies,
today announced that 24/7 Mail, the company's email marketing division and the largest
single source for opt-in email addresses, has signed on several new clients, including
FastWeb, eDiets.com, PC Driver's HQ and Bits N Pieces.
These new clients have resulted in the addition of 4.5 million fully permission based
email addresses to the network, increasing the total number of permission based email
names under management to 15.5 million. 24/7 Media recently announced nearly a 300 percent
growth in the third quarter for 24/7 Mail, and its revenue continues to ramp up at an
explosive rate in the fourth quarter.
In its largest deal to date, 24/7 Mail has entered into an exclusive agreement with
FastWeb, the nation's most comprehensive online student resource network with more than
four million registered users. Under the terms of the agreement, 24/7 Mail will manage
FastWeb's extensive database of opt-in email addresses.
